Kevin’s has several family members that have served for our country. His father and uncle who served in the Vietnam War and brother who served in the Gulf War in 1991. As a youngster, Kevin always dreamed of being a First Responder and his two favorite tv shows growing up were “Emergency" and "The Rookies”.
While in College, Kevin dealt with an incident with the Law enforcement in his hometown which resulted in him partnering with the police and the community to bridge the gap and they help build a strong close-knit community with Town Activities and Events. Also, Kevin has several family and friends who are First Responders and he knows all too well how difficult a First Responder’s job can be. In March 2020, Kevin lost a very close friend of 20 years to suicide who was a firefighter with 2 kids and was very kind and giving person in his community. Kevin was completely unaware of the pain and suffering that his friends and others were going through. This shook Kevin to the core and opened his eyes to understand how stressful and hard a First Responders job is. Now, he is more determined to help those that are in need before it’s too late. Being with Healthy Hire Healthy Retire will give Kevin more opportunities to assist more people on a bigger platform.
